Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Beligator collects through beligator.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our website and waitlist. We’ll update it before the Beligator app launches.

The short version

  • If you join the waitlist, we collect your email address to send you Beligator updates.
  • We use a few standard tools to run the site and see how it’s used.
  • We never sell your personal information, and we don’t show ads.
  • You can unsubscribe from any email in one click, or ask us to delete your information at any time.

1. What we collect

Information you give us

  • Waitlist signups: your email address, and your name if you choose to give it.
  • Messages: anything you include when you email us, such as your name, email address and the content of your message.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage information: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, how long you stay, and the website that referred you.
  • Email activity: whether our emails are delivered and opened, and which links are clicked.
  • Cookies and similar technologies, described in section 3.

We don’t ask for, and you shouldn’t send us, sensitive information such as account numbers, Social Security numbers or details of your investments.

2. How we use it

  • To manage the waitlist and send you updates about Beligator, including launch news and early-access invitations.
  • To reply to your messages.
  • To understand how people use the site so we can improve it.
  • To keep the site secure and prevent abuse or spam.
  • To meet legal obligations.

If you’re in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on your consent for marketing emails and non-essential cookies, and on our legitimate interest in running and securing the website for everything else.

3. Cookies and analytics

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use essential cookies to make the site work, and, where you allow it, analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies in our cookie banner, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

We don’t use cookies for advertising, and we don’t allow advertising networks to track you on our site.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that help us run Beligator, and only so they can provide those services to us. They may not use it for their own purposes.

7. Security and where data is stored

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (https) and access controls on our accounts. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
